Top Line Related
My experience focuses on the top line of the company through the Go To Market of the insurance business in Asia Pacific and Japan. Act as a business development personnel as well as the subject matter expert (SME) for the region. Collected requirements, researched, provided solutions, wrote up RFIs, RFPs and proposals, prepared presentations and collaborated on partnership opportunities inside and outside the company. Acted as the SME in the region to provide guidance and recommendations, covering industry trends, innovations, industrial standards and practices. I am very comfortable meeting with C-Levels from the client's side to understand their pain points, empathise and define their problems to provide solutions to them.
Operations Related
Responsible for Regional Operations work for Asia Pacific and providing regional support to 9 countries for their Operational Efficiency Initiatives and to build capacity for growth in all business units based on operational assessments that reviewed process inefficiencies, automation, productivity and error/re-work rate. Identified improvements and automation opportunities and provide a cost-benefit analysis to management. Also acted as the regional project manager for a couple of regional initiatives.
Information Systems Related
More than a decade of technical experience working in IT/consultancy teams providing systems and business analytical skills, demonstrated expertise in project management, system implementation, system controls & testing in the full System Development Life Cycle (SDLC). Have had chances to work in numerous global system implementations covering all facets of the system implementations, ranging from coders to system analysis to data-related personnel. The projects involved customisation, new implementations as well as conversion.
